Friday I put my Canon EOS-1D Mark III up for sale and later the same day managed to get et sold and picked up. Saturday = NO CAMERA! Sunday I went to Copenhagen to pick up my brother from the airport and a Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III! Yes - I gat a camera in my hands again and once again with the 1D/1Ds body (I'll never downgrade!).
So why change from 1D to 1Ds? Two reason for; 21 MP and Fullframe and one against; the loss of speed:(
The 1D3 had a 1.3 crop wich felt like a huge screen while comparing to the 1.6 crop of the 40D body. Now going from 1.3 crop to Fullframe still feels like walking into cinema! I love it!
Well enough about the camera for now. Here are a few photos taken today. Black and white converted. Photos shot with Canon Speedlite 580ex II, triggered by Canon ST-E2 wireless trigger.
