Sigurd and I toke a trip a cross Fyn in our search for a field fire. We didn't catch any but we still had a great time and managed to do some pretty nice jumping photos! Here they are:-)

Yeah! New Camera

Just writing to let you all know that I have just ordered a Canon EOS 40D to replace my old Canon EOS 400D. If anyone should be interested in buying my EOS 400D please let me know as soon as possible. Otherwise it will go on dba.dk in the near future. Please ask for price! It will be the best you can find!

Vacation in Strib part II: Harbor

Because of the bad weather we used a day in Fredericia.
The photos I toke where all very grey. During the post-production in Adobe Photoshop CS3 I have tampered with "Photo filters" and "Shadow/Highlights" (Image -> Adjustments ->) to create a more colorful final result.

Vacation in Strib part I

Karen-Line and I have just returned from our small vacation in Strib on west Fyn. We borrowed a summer cottage from one of Karen-Lines friends. Sadly we had absolutly no summerweather during our stay:-( I had hoped for great chances of taking photos in great light with my Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM telelens. I still toke alot of photos but everything was just grey - so maybe that should be the theme of this (2 to 3 part) collection -GREY!

Photos from the Thistle field

Today I went for a walk near the University of Southern Denmark. I tried to catch some sunlight between the ocean of clouds in the sky. It was very windy but no rain. I went to one of my favorite ponds to look for newly metamorphed frogs (Rana temporaria). The pond was all dried out but I managed to find several froglets. After that I walked through a large field of thistles. There was a lot of butterflies (mostly species I already have pictures of) wich I got some ok photos of. Here are a few photos.

Coastline on Enebærodde

Today Karen-Line and I choose to defy all weather forecasts and went to Enebærodde again. I had various Lens' with me this time; Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 standard, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro and Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM telelens.
It was very windy and we had a few raindrops on our four hour walk all around the spit (or tongue of land), approximatly 15 km.

Walk at Hofmandsgave

Karen-Line and I, original went for a walk on Enebærodde, but since it started raining, we choose to explore some other parts of North Fyn instead. We found Hofmandsgave on our map and went there. The place have a lovely garden open for the public. I toke my new lens with me!
